What is server colocation?
Colocation means installing your own servers and network equipment in a professional datacenter. You keep ownership of the hardware; the datacenter provides rack space, backed-up power, cooling, connectivity and physical security. It sits between an in-house server room, costly to make reliable, and a rented server, whose hardware you do not choose.
